  • 3 tbsp Dry Mango Powder or amchoor
  • 2 mace javitri blades
  • 6 Red Chillies dried
  • 1 tbsp cumin seed or jeera
  • 1 bay leaf or tejpatta, medium-sized
  • 3/4 tbsp black salt
  • 1/3 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 1/2 coriander seeds or dhania
  • 1 nutmeg jayphal, irregularly pounded
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds or saunf
  • 1/2 dry ginger powdered
  • 4-5 cloves or laung
  • 1⁄4 tbsp asafoetida or hing
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick or 1 inch dal chini
  • 2 to 4 Cardamom elaichi
  • 1/2 caraway seeds or shahjeera


  • Add each of the listed ingredients to the jar of a mixer grinder.
  • Blend the ingredients into a smooth mixture. Water is not required.
  • Let the mixture cool before storing it in a container that is dry, clean, and airtight.
  • You are ready to use it as soon as you need it.
