Chaat masala is a perfect tangy Indian spice or masala without which any chaat recipe is incompplete. A must have for all chaat recipes.

  • Asfoetida/ Hing - 1/4 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds/ Zeera - 2 tbsp
  • Black Pepper powder/ Kali Mirch - 1/2 tsp
  • Amchur / Dry mango powder - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1.5 tbsp
  • Black Salt - 1 tsp
  • Ginger powder/ Sonth - 1 tsp
  • Mint powder/ Pudina - 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds/ Ajwain - 1.5 tsp
  • Coriander seeds/ Dhaniya - 1 tbsp


  • Dry roast, cumin seeds, carom seeds and coriander seeds. Cool down, grind and sieve it.
  • Add balance all ingredients and store the spice in an air tight container. This quantity can be used for 2-3 months. After that it tends to loose it flavours so must be prepared fresh as desired.
