A spicy and tangy Chutney prepared from Raw Banana peel..An authentic recipe from my Mom's Kitchen.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • Raw Banana Peel 1 cup
  • Cumin Seed 1 tbsp
  • Dry Red Chili 3
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Tamarind Paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt per taste
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 tsp

How to cook?
  1. Take the raw Banana Peel and soak in turmeric water for 5 minute.Pressure cook in one cup of water to one whistle.
  2. Take a pan and heat oil.Put cumin Seed and chilis .Saute for a minute.Add banana Peel and Saute for 3-5 minute until they are dry. Switch off the flame and cool the mixture.Now add tamarind Paste, sugar and salt.Grind the mixture to a fine paste.
  3. It's ready to serve .Enjoy your meal with this , or as a dip with your snacks :)
