Kachche Kele Ki Sabzi -Raw Banana Sabzi

Raw bananas are a brilliant, healthier substitute to potatoes in any recipe. This sabzi is made by sautéing raw banans with bunch of spices. Mango powder adds a delicious tanginess to the dish which gives lovely flavour. Along with rotis or rice this kachche kela ki sazbi will make a delicious meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm raw banana peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 2 pinch asaefotida
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon red Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala Powder
  • 1 tablespoon mango powder
  • Some chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 5 tablespoon Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in wok, crackle cumin seeds and asaefotida when cumin seeds stop crackling add sliced bananas. Mix really well. cover the lid n cook for 10minutes on low flame or till bananas done.
  • Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and mango powder. Sprinkle a little water on banana sabzi. Mix gently, cover n cook for 5minutes.
  • Reduce heat and add coriander leaves. Mix gently. Switch off the flame.
  • Raw Banana Sabzi Done. Serve hot this with dal rice or chapati.

Notes

• U can use tamarind paste instead of mango Powder.
