Ingredients
  

  • Poha 1 bowl
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Cardamom/Elaichi powder
  • Dry coconut grated half small bowl
  • Raisins 8-10 no
  • Cashew-nuts 5-6 no
  • Almonds 5-6 no
  • Sugar half small bowl

Instructions
 

  • Boil the 1 liter milk in a broad vessel.
  • Side by side clean the poha with water and drain the water completely.  Ensure that the poha does not stick after draining the water.
  • Once the milk is boiled, slowly add the poha in the milk.
  • Add the sugar as per your taste and liking.
  • Cook the kheer till the poha cooks completely,say for about 10-15 mins.
  • Switch off the flame and add the cardamom powder,cut the cashew-nuts almonds in small pieces.
  •  Add all the three dry fruits & grated dry coconut and serve.
  • The poha kheer  is ready.
  •  You can use slight thin poha also to make this kheer.
