  • Take gram flour in a bowl.
  • Add milk, water and food colour to make a thick batter.
  • Heat ghee in a kadhai.
  • Once the ghee is hot, put the flame to medium and hold the boondi ladle above the ghee.
  • Pour the batter all over the ladle and start tapping the handle of the ladle so that boondi comes out in the ghee.
  • Once the bubble reduces, remove boondi from ghee and drain on absorbent paper.
  • Repeat the same process for the remaining batter.
  • To make sugar syrup, boil sugar and water until one string consistency.
  • Switch off the flame, add cardamom powder and lemon juice.
  • Add boondi and mix well.
  • Cover with a lid and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Add melon seeds.
  • Grease your hand with ghee.
  • Take boondi and make ladoos.
