The Healing Power Of Saffron

Why is saffron good for you? No spice is as special as Saffron. The smell makes you happy, the unique earthy-honey taste makes your taste nerves rage and it decorates every dish with a beautiful golden hue.
Saffron is extremely rich in manganese, which helps regulate blood sugar and promote bone and tissue formation and supports your sex hormones. This spice contain good amount of Vitamin C that help fight infections and supports iron absorption. Saffron also contains more than 150 components, of which Picrocrocin, Safranal and Crocine are the most important substances. These substances from nature aim to keep your body functions healthy.
Saffron in combination with milk can improve your digestion and appetite, keep your skin healthy and even improve your immune system. Drinking Saffron milk every day, especially before going to bed, can promote a good night’s sleep. Saffron mask can make your skin glow, make your own face mask and add some saffron thread to give your skin a cool glow.
1) Sore Throat and Cough
You can combat these complaints by gargling with cooled or lukewarm saffron tea. Saffron is anti-inflammatory and has an analgesic effect. For an extra strong effect, add half a teaspoon of turmeric (turmeric) to the tea.
2) Headache After Drinking Alcohol
Drinking saffron tea alleviates the effects of alcohol when you have a bad headache.
3) Cholesterol Values
The spice helps to lower high cholesterol levels and thus contributes to the prevention of heart complaints. Some researchers attribute the relatively low rates of cardiovascular disease in Spain to the generous use of saffron in a variety of dishes.

For relief at PMS you can drink a cup of saffron tea twice a day (use 10-15 threads). In the third cycle after using saffron, the effect becomes most noticeable. 7) Anemia
The spice has an affinity for the blood and increases hemoglobin levels and is therefore good in case of anemia.
8) Depressed Complaints
In mild, mild and severe depressions, saffron has been shown to be effective and gives the same results as some anti-depressants. The effect occurs after 6 weeks based on 25 mg per day.
9) Good Night Rest
A cup of saffron tea, a saffron capsule or saffron infused in warm milk at bedtime promotes a good night’s sleep. You can also add a pinch (up to 1/8 teaspoon) of nutmeg.
