Raw Banana Kofta Curry

Raw banana is rich in fibre, very good for stomach problem. It has low glycemic index, rich in iron and miracle food for diabetic patient. Whole part of banana tree is useful and eatable.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mashed raw banana
  • 1/4 cup roasted gram powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chilli
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp gram masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp soya granules
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • Fresh cream
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • Chopped coriander leaves.
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Take a mixing bowl put mashed raw banana, soya granules, chopped green chilli, gram flour, cumin flour, chopped coriander leaves and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix all together and give shape like kofta. Fry all the koftas and keep separate.
  • Now take a small bowl add curd, turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger paste and asafoetida. Mix all together with 2 tsp water.
  • Heat the wok add oil, bay leaves and pour the mixed masala. Stir continuously until the aroma comes out to your kitchen.
  • Then add little water and cook. Then add salt, garam masala, clarified butter.
  • Again cook for a minute then pour onto the koftas and cover for a minute. Serve with any other combination.
