- 500 gm sweet potato
- 1 litre milk
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 200 gm jaggery
- 200 grated coconut
- 2 tbsp broken cashew nuts
- 2 tbsp pistachio
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 pinch cardamom powder

- Peal off and boil the sweet potato. Add rice flour for binding then mash and make a dough.
- Make a fillings with grated coconut, Jaggery, grated cashew nuts and cardamom powder.
- Fill into the dough and role like a cylindrical shape. All sides should be sealed. Then bake with little ghee all sides should be baked.
- Then bake with little ghee and all sides to be baked.
- Another side make the kheer. Boil milk until thick then add jaggery and cardamom powder.
- Milk is ready to pour on the baked Puli.
- Cut the them diagonally.
- Serve the Puli pithe with kheer and garnish with chopped pistachio.
- Now it is ready to serve.
