Kheerer Puli Pithe With Sweet Potato

New harvest recipe of Bengal. In West Bengal Makar Shankranti known as Poush Shankranti. Dessert made by freshly harvested paddy. There are unlimited recipes I made this Puli pithe with sweet potato, new rice flour, new jaggery and coconut.

litre milk

tablespoon
rice flour
200
gm jaggery
200
grated coconut
2
tablespoon
broken cashew nuts
2
tablespoon
pistachio
1
tablespoon
ghee
1
pinch
cardamom powder
Instructions
Peal off and boil the sweet potato. Add rice flour for binding then mash and make a dough.
Make a fillings with grated coconut, Jaggery, grated cashew nuts and cardamom powder.
Fill into the dough and role like a cylindrical shape. All sides should be sealed. Then bake with little ghee all sides should be baked.

Another side make the kheer. Boil milk until thick then add jaggery and cardamom powder.
Milk is ready to pour on the baked Puli.
Cut the them diagonally.
Serve the Puli pithe with kheer and garnish with chopped pistachio.
Now it is ready to serve.
