Khadi Dal or Khadi Masoor Ki Dal or Red Gram Dal Recipe is a Hyderabadi special dish always made for lunch or dinner with rotis, chapatis or parathas. Masoor dal is used in making Khichdi or in normal daal recipes. Whenever any kind of dal is made with any green leafy should be very flavorful and aromatic.
1 cup Red gram dal (soaked)
1 bunch dill (washed and chopped)
7 garlic pods
3nos green chilies
Salt to taste
4 tablespoons oil
Grate garlic pods n grind green chili into fine paste.
Heat oil in wok, add garlic and saute till it turn into light pink.
Add green chili paste and saute for 30seconds.
Add soaked red gram dal in it n saute. Do not add water.
Add Suva n mix really well. Cover the lid and cook for 5minutes.
Add salt n mix gently. Cover the lid n cook till dal done or get soft.
