Savoury Egg & Chia Seed Pudding

Recipe by Priya Satheesh
Chia seeds are a tiny black seeds with a mild nutty flavour. During google search, found an amazing fact that chia means strength in Mayan language and also known as Runners Food. Runners and Warriors use this superfood as a fuel while running for long distance or while going for a battle.
Chia seeds is easily digestible and a versatile ingredient. This seed can be used as raw, soaked or powder form in any dishes like salad, stir fry, soup, juices etc. This can also be added for giving crunchiness to the dish.
As this ingredient contains omega3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fiber and calcium, this helps in treating diabetics, skin and aging related problems, heart related problems, weight loss, build muscle and for stronger bones. As it is high in fiber, this helps in losing weight and useful in digestive health.
Savory Egg & Chia Seed Pudding is a tasty and healthy meal to serve as a breakfast along with a fresh juice or vegetable juice. Instead of using chia seeds only in smoothies and yogurt, try this interesting one bowl breakfast which can be prepared in couple of minutes.
To make this meal more nutritious, include more veggies like mushroom, bell peppers, olives etc. According to my recipe measurement, two medium oval shaped ( as given in the picture ) meal can be prepared.
