Whole Wheat And Raagi Stuffed (Capsicum And Paneer) Paratha

This Paratha is made with half whole wheat flour and Raagi flour. Capsicum and shredded panner add richness and healthy factor to the recipe. This is idle for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Curd is the perfect combo for for this paratha.

  • Whole wheat flour 1cup
  • Raagi flour 1cup
  • Water for mixing the dough
  • Salt
  • For stuffing. Capsicum 2
  • Paneer 50gms shredded
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger an inch
  • Garlic 2cloves
  • Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sambhar powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Currypowder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves 1 fistful
  • Oil 2 teaspoon
  • Salt


  • Mix Whole wheat flour and Raagi flour and salt with water and make a dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • For preparing stuffing, cut capsicum and onion into small pieces and shred paneer. Add 2teaspoon of oil in a pan and add onion and saute well Add crushed onion and garlic to the onion and saute well till the raw smell disappear.
  • Add all the masala powder together with salt.. Now add capsicum and shredded panner and let it combine well. Saute well for few minutes. It's done. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Take a small ball of dough and roll.Place two teaspoon full of capsicum paneer mixture in the center of the dough. Roll the dough carefully that the stuffing stays intact.
  • Place the stuffed paratha on hot tawa and cook with oil or ghee. Fry till its done. Serve hot with curd.
