This is a U.P. style recipe which is made in winter with soft and fresh green peas. People of Uttar Pradesh are fond of this Nimona. In rural areas people use dal badi and potatoes. Obviously it is tasty can be served with steamed rice, chapati, paratha. For pure vegetarian they can avoid onion garlic.

Ingredients
- 250 gm raw green peas
- 4-6 dal vadi
- 4-6 baby potato
- 1 tbsp onion paste
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 2 green chillies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 dry red chilli
- Mustard oil for cooking
- Pinch of hing
- Salt
- Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions
- Wash the green peas and roughly ground. Heat a pan add 1 tbsp oil pinch of hing then stir fry the raw grounded green peas and keep aside.
- Shallow fry the badi and boiled baby potatoes then keep aside.
- Again heat the pan add oil dry red chilli and cumin powder. Saute then add onion, garlic and ginger paste. Stir continuously. Add chopped tomato then green peas and salt.
- Give a stir fry then add glass of water cover to cook. After then add fried badi and potatoes again cook for a few seconds.
- Add homemade garam masala and fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice.
