We get fresh green peas in winter season. There are unlimited recipes with green peas. This is one of those recipe which myself and my family like.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gms green peas
  • 1/2 cup onion paste
  • 2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp all ground masala
  • 2 tsp couscous paste
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Oil as required
  • Pure ghee as required
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Make a paste with green peas and keep aside.
  • Now take a frying pan heat oil add bay leaves, onion paste, garlic paste and ginger paste saute till brown. Then add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and curd.
  • Stir continuously then add green peas paste and couscous paste. Stir and mix well. At last add all ground masala and pure ghee. Ready to serve with chapati, paratha, puri and rice.

Notes

Green peas are soft and healthy than other peas.
