Kakrol (spiny gourd) with cheery tomato Kakrol (teasle gourd) also known as spine gourd (mitha karela). Seasonal vegetables are good we can regular intake. Spiny gourd is one of them which has low calorie. It is usually found in monsoon season. Here I am sharing a spine gourd recipe with cherry tomato.

Ingredients
- 200 gm spiny gourd
- 100 gm cherry tomato
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp white sesame paste
- 1 tbsp mustard oil
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Wash the spiny gourd and cut in pieces.
- Take a pan add 1 tbsp mustard oil and shallow fry the kakrol. Add turmeric powder and salt. Sprinkle little water.
- Now add cherry tomato, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, sesame paste, tomato paste and salt.
- Mix all ingredients then cook for another few minutes. Slowly the texture will become thick.
- Add garam masala and sprinkle coriander leaves and sesame seeds.
- Ready to serve with roti/ chapati/ paratha. Enjoy the simple tasty recipe.
