Ingredients & Quantity
  • spinach leaves 20 to 25
  • salt to taste
  • gram flour 3 tbsp
  • green chili paste 1 tsp
  • red chili powder 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 pich
  • coriander pwoder 1 tbsp
  • roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  • dry mango powder 1 tbsp
  • ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying
  • garam masla as required .
How to cook?
  1. mix the gram flour and spices together instead of oil make a thick and smooth batter.
  2. now apply the mixture onto spinach leaves , apply one by one and make a bundle at least 4 leaves,steam the roll in steamer for 15 minutes.
  3. after steaming cool and cut into round pieces .
  4. heat the oil and fry the patrode till golden and crisp.
  5. serve hot with green chutney and tea.
