Instructions
Mix the gram flour and spices together to make a thick and smooth batter instead of using oil.
Now, apply the mixture onto spinach leaves one by one, making a bundle of at least 4 leaves. Steam the roll in a steamer for 15 minutes.
After steaming, allow it to cool, and then cut it into round pieces.
Heat the oil and fry the patrode until golden and crisp.
Serve hot with green chutney and tea.
