This is healthy main course dish inspired from Rajasthani cuisine. As there are very less dishes with paneer in Rajsthani cuisine. So I am adding one. There is no thick n heavy gravy, cream etc. This dish is absolutely healthy. '

Ingredients
 

  • Paneer for making smoky
  • 250 gm Paneer
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 1 leaves Coriander ginger,garlic and chilli mix paste -
  • 1 / Masala chilli powder, salt and cumin seed powder - tbsp or as per taste mix
  • For Gravey: for gravey
  • 1 Onion big
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Curry Patta finely chopped
  • 1 leaves Cor Ringer Leaves Finely Chopped-1 Tbsp cor ringer finely chopped
  • 1 cup Curd hang
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • Chilli Powder or salt salt and as per taste
  • For Smoke: for smoke
  • 1 piece Coal- 1 Small Piece coal
  • 1 tbsp Desi Ghee

Instructions
 

  • Cut paneer into small cubes. Take a bowl. Pour curd ,Dhaniya paste and mix masala. Add paneer in it.Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • After that use Air fryer to roast it for 15 min at 180 degree. Now, keep all roasted paneer in a deep bowl. Heat a piece of coal, keep it in centre of paneer. Add 1 tbsp of ghee on coal. Cover bowl and keep it covered for atleast 15 min.
  • Take hung curd. Add Dhaniya patti and Kari patta in it. Mix them well.
  • Take oil. After a minute add garlic and onion. Sauté it . Off the gas stove and add hung curd mixture.Mix it well. Now add coriander powder, chilli powder and salt as per taste. Now start stove and mix it well.
  • Now add smoky paneer in it. Use Kari patta and green chilli for decoration . Serve it hot with chapati, missi roti or naan.

Recipe Notes

  • One can roast paneer on tawa, tandoor  etc.
  • Use hang curd for gravy as it gives creamy texture.
