  • Method:- For the dough Mix the flour ,curd, salt baking soda , knead a stiff dough using enough water. Divide the dough into 24 equal portions (for 12 pooris) and keep aside.
  • For Stuffing Heat a small pan with 2 teaspoon of oil in it. Add kasoori methi then onions and salt soute till onions get transparent. Now add remaning stuffing ingredients
  • How to preceed Divide the stuffing into 12 equal portions and keep aside. Roll out two portion of the dough into a thin round circles (poori) with the help of a little oil. Put one portion of the stuffing in the centre .

  • cover the stuffing with another poori completely. Press the edges or cut it with a steel bowl with sharp edges. (see the picture ) Repeat with the remaining portions.

  • Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the puris, a few at a time, till they turn golden brown in colour from both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.

  • Serve immediately.
