About this Recipe

There are unlimited seafood recipe this is one of those recipe. We can get fresh prawns from Bay of Bengal which is near to West Bengal coastal areas. Prawns are a rich source of selenium one of the most effective antioxidants at maintaining healthy cells high level of zinc, which is important to develop a healthy immune system. Eating prawns help to build strong bone because they contains phosphorus, copper and magnesium.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 250 gms prawns
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp tomato puree
  • 2 tsp sour cream
  • 2 tsp couscous paste
  • 2 tsp cashew nut paste
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Fresh cream for garnishing
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

How to cook?
  1. Peal off the skin and marinate with turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice. Make prawns shallow fry. Keep aside.

  3. In the same pan add oil, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri powder, tomato puree, sour cream, couscous paste and cashew nut paste. Stir continuously and add 1/2 glass water close the lid for five minutes.

  5. Open the lid add fried prawns and garam masala powder. Garnish with fresh cream.
Notes

Should not fry more otherwise softness of the flesh will destroy.
