  • Heat 1 Tbsp Oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Once it starts spluttering, add jeera / Cumin seeds followed by hing, sliced onion, curry leaves and finely chopped ginger.
  • Saute till it turns light brown color and add peas along with salt. Simmer, cover and cook for couple of minutes. Add the measured water and let it boil.
  • Simmer the flame and add the bajra flour and keep stirring to get a dough. Remove from the flame and divide the dough into 4 - 5 balls. Take aluminum flour or banana leaves and place one bajra ball on it.
  • Slowly pat the dough using wet fingers to prepare like roti. Heat tawa, place the roti and smear little oil. Cook both the sides and remove from the flame.
  • Repeat the process for the remaining dough. Serve hot with Raita or Chutney.
