  • Pakwan recipe-Make a very tight dough. Keep covered for 30 minutes. Roll out like chapatis. Make incisions with a fork so that it doesn't swell up like puris. Heat oil. Fry one by one on slow flame.
  • Yellow Moong dal + Whole Green Moong +Chana Dal Method- Wash and soak all the dals for at least 2 hours. Mix together and boil for 4 whistles on medium flame. Add salt, haldi and red chilli while boiling. Open and add water to adjust consistency.
  • Give a tadka of jeera. Serve with spicy green chutney and finely chopped onion.
  • All dals can be boiled separately and mixed while serving.

Recipe Notes

This is again a very popular street food that I have healthified by replacing half quantity maida with whole wheat flour.
