Presenting a classic Sindhi breakfast...Dal Pakwan that has a liberal adding of chopped onion and super spicy Green Coriander and Mint chutney.
It is served with a combo of three lentils.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Refined flour for the pakwan organic
- 1/2 cup Atta
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- Cold Water ice
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 cup Yellow Moong Dal ingredients dal
- 1/4 cup Chana Dal
- 1/4 cup Moong green whole
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- red chili powder to season
- 1 tsp Whole Jeera

Instructions
- Pakwan recipe-Make a very tight dough. Keep covered for 30 minutes. Roll out like chapatis. Make incisions with a fork so that it doesn't swell up like puris. Heat oil. Fry one by one on slow flame.
- Yellow Moong dal + Whole Green Moong +Chana Dal Method- Wash and soak all the dals for at least 2 hours. Mix together and boil for 4 whistles on medium flame. Add salt, haldi and red chilli while boiling. Open and add water to adjust consistency.
- Give a tadka of jeera. Serve with spicy green chutney and finely chopped onion.
- All dals can be boiled separately and mixed while serving.
Recipe Notes
This is again a very popular street food that I have healthified by replacing half quantity maida with whole wheat flour.
