About Masala Bread

Breakfast means normally people think bread and butter which is most easy nothing to do. But sometimes we like to change our taste, that's how I made masala bread. In south they use coconut oil which gives a south indian flavour.

  • Take a mixing bowl add rice flour, Chik peas flour, chopped onion, ginger paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chopped curry leaves, asafoetida and salt. Mix all dry ingredients.
  • Now add curd in mixed ingredients and beat. If you need you can add little water. It depends how much consistent is your curd.

  • Take the multi grain bread spread the thick batter.

  • Heat a frying pan add oil and put the bread. After a minute turn other side again spread batter.

  • Shallow fry both sides will be cryspy.

  • Serve with any sauce as per your taste. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds.

Recipe Notes

Coconut oil and curry leaves will give a south indian flavour.
