Chena made by cow milk and lemon juice soft and delicious. It is different in taste from market paneer. I had this recipe one of my relative's house.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gms chena
  • 100 gms curd
  • 50 gms malai
  • 1/2 glass coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • Salt
  • Mustered oil as required
  • 4-5 green chilli slits
  • Fresh coriander
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour

Instructions
 

  • Add lemon juice into the boiling milk and squeeze with a maslin cloth. Give a shape and cut into pieces.

  • Take a frying pan add mustered oil fry the chena pieces and immediately deep into the salted water.
  • Add ginger juice, make a paste with curd and corn flour pour into the oil. Add crushed black pepper, cinnamon powder and slits green chilli. Sauteed add fried and soaked Chena.
  • At last add fresh malai and fresh coriander. Serve with chapati, paratha, luchi etc...

Notes

Chena recipe is very light. Those who like veggies and simple recipe they can try.
