Amaranth leaves: Amaranth leaves cleanse the blood toxins, improves digestion, strengthens heart muscles, it also lower the blood cholesterol .i generally make with moong Dal as subji.first time I try it as saw in Internet. Its taste is yumm. Eat with boiled rice as side dish
Amaranth leaves-2cups roughly cut
Salt to taste
Tempering. Curry patta. Mustered seeds ( optional)
Wash leaves and cut it foughbly.soal tamrid in little water
Heat little oil add red chilli and zeera. Roast it Add sesame seeds and roast.at the end add grated coconut and remove
Heat little oil add garlic and green chilli. Fry for a minute. Add leaves and sautÃ© till leaves becomes soft.
Remove and cool it. Grind all the roasted ingredients along with tamrid into coarse pasteAdd salt.temper with curry patta and mustered seeds.
Chutney is ready
