This is the OPOS (One Pot One Shot) method of healthy and fast cooking. It uses very less oil.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gm mutton I used Licious brand's mutton
  • 1 cup shallots, diced
  • 1 cup curry leaves
  • 2 green chilies slit
  • 3 tbsp pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • pinch turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions
 

  • Mix the pepper, turmeric and salt to the mutton
  • Add oil and water to a 2l pressure cooker
  • Add the shallots, curry leaves and green chillies
  • Add the marinated mutton

  • Cook on high for 10-15 whistles (use your discretion and if you feel a slightly smoky smell switch off stove) and let the pressure release naturally

  • These are exact measurements since OPOS method has to be done with correct measurements.
  • If you have more mutton, make in two batches.  Overall it takes only 15 mins so go ahead and discover the magic.
  • Pepper can be reduced if you are sensitive to spice
