Raw Banana kofta curry is famous in south India. It's very yummy and delicious recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 boiled raw banana
  • 2 boiled potato
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 inch chopped ginger
  • 10 - 12 garlic pods
  • 3 onions chopped
  • 3 tbsp gram flour
  • ½ cup tomato puree
  • ¼ tsp asafoetida powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 2 green chilli chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • For garnish - 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream

Instructions
 

  • Grate the boiled bananas and potatoes or mash it properly.
  • Add 1 fine chopped onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric, gram flour and mix well.
  • Turn on the heat. In a pan add oil and heat it.
  • Make the small balls of prepared paste.
  • Put it into the hot oil. Fry kofta balls on low heat and flip it in between. Fry it till turns golden brown.
  • Take out on the napkin to absorb extra oil.
  • For gravy - Turn on the flame and heat frying pan. Add 2 tbsp oil to heat.
  • Add cumin seeds, garlic pods, grated ginger. Fry it for 30 seconds.
  • Add chopped onion fry it on medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes. When the onion turns light brown turn off the heat and let it cool completely.
  • Put it into the blending jar and blend it into thick paste. Blended masala is ready.
  • Turn on the flame and heat a pan.
  • Add 3 tbsp oil into the pan and let heat.
  • Add asafoetida, cumin seeds fry it for 30 second.
  • Add red chilli, turmeric powder mix well.
  • Add the blended masala paste.
  • Add little water in the jar and pour the remaining masala paste into the pan.
  • Fry it for 3 - 4 minutes on medium heat. Add coriander powder, cumin powder and mix it.
  • Fry the masala until the oil get separated from the masala.
  • Add tomato puree mix it.
  • Cook the masala for another 2 - 3 minutes. Add a glass of water and stir it and boil it.
  • Add garam masala powder and stir it. Simmer the heat and boil it for 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Add fresh cream and stir properly. Turn off the heat.
  • Add fried kofta in the gravy one by one. Stir it.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream.
  • Raw Banana kofta curry is ready to serve.
