Enjoy it topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin pie spices.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Milk toned
  • 1/2 cup Coffee espresso OR brewed
  • 4 tbsp Pumpkin puree Refer notes
  • Sweetner Choose from honey, sugar, jaggery, maple syrup or agave nectar to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pumpkin spice mix mix of ginger, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg powders
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream to garnish (I did not use this)

Instructions
 

  • Heat milk in a pan.

  • Once warm, add in the pumpkin puree and mix in well.

  • Now add in the pumpkin pie spices and mix in well.

  • Now add in the prepared espresso or ground coffee.

  • Lastly add in the vanilla extract, mix everything well and pour into two glasses and top with require amount of sweetener of choice.

  • Top with whipped cream if desired. Enjoy hot!

Pumpkin Puree

  • You can either use canned pumpkin puree or make your own by pressure cooking pumpkin cubes for 3 whistles in just enough water to cover the surface of the cubes OR steaming a small pumpkin over a steamer.

  • Once soft, blend the pumpkin pieces in a blender or food processor.
