About this Recipe

Three Sisters Soup is a wonderful combination of squash, beans and corn.

Ingredients & Quantity
  • ½ Cup frozen corn kernels
  • ½ Cup boiled beans (you can use any beans. I used rajma)
  • ½ Cup cooked squash (diced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ Cup diced carrots
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • ½ rib diced celery
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder as required
  • 2 Cup, Vegetable stock
How to cook?
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions. Stir until they become golden.
  2. Now add carrot, minced garlic, celery and saute it for 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add vegetable stock and bring it to boil. Now add squash, beans, corn kernels and thyme.
  4. Cover and simmer it for 7-8 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  5. Add salt and pepper and serve hot with any bread.
