Masala Papad Cones Recipe

Masala papad cones is a very very simple and quick Indian snack recipe. All Indian homes have 1 or more types of papad at home so this is a very interesting twist to use papad as a snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pcs Masala papad
  • 1 cup Rice puffs
  • 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber chopped
  • 1 cup onions chopped, optional
  • 1 cup namkeen Haldiram, any flavor
  • 2 teaspoon Tomato Ketchup optional
  • 2 teaspoon Green coriander chutney optional

Instructions
 

  • Break papad into 2 equal parts to give 2 semicircles. Microwave 1papad at a time for 20-25 seconds.
  • While the papad is hot, curl it to form a cone shape. Similarly make all other cones.
  • Make a mixture of all other ingredients except ketchup and chutney. Stuff this mixture into each cones.
  • Place each cone in short glasses. Put little amount of mixture at the base of the glass as well.
  • Garnish each cone with tomato ketchup and coriander. Serve immediately as cones will get soggy if kept for long time.
