Mango Custard

When fresh mangoes are in season,why to miss the chance of having these wonderful milk custard!!.

  • 500 ml coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla custard powder
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 ripe peeled and chopped mangoes
  • 1/4 cup chilled fresh cream
  • 1/4 bowl pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped mangoes


  • Put in 400ml of milk 8n a heavy bottom land and bring it to boil
  • Keep 100ml milk aside
  • Mix and stir vanilla custard powder to 100 ml milk,till no lumps left
  • Add the sugar and wait till dissolves
  • Add the custard mixture to the boiling milk and stir continuously to prevent from sticking the custard in the bottom
  • Stir contineously till it's thickens, and off the gas and let it cool completely
  • Now blend the chopped mangoes to smooth mixture
  • Once the custard is cool,blend the mongo and custard mixture to a smooth mixture ,with help of blender/hand blender
  • Transfer to serving bowls/bowl and refrigerate it for 1hour to set
  • Once set garnish with pomegranate seed and chopped mangoes!
