  • Black lentil 300 gm
  • Onions 1 number
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Garam masala half a teaspoon
  • Green chillies 2 number
  • Tez Patta 1 number
  • Red Chilli Powder half a teaspoon
  • Dhania Powder half teaspoon
  • Turmeric half a teaspoon
  • Cumin Whole one pinch
  • Kidney beans 100 gm
  • Tomato 1 number
  • Salt


  • Boil the black lentils along with the kidney beans
  • Heat the oil in a non stick frying pan, add whole cumin, wait till it turns black, add onions and garlic cloves. Fry until they turn brown
  • Add the garam masala, dhania powder, turmeric and red chilly powder also add the cut green chillies, mix properly with the onions then add tomato and add a little water to make the curry.
  • When the curry is made add salt and the boiled lentil, add a little water as well, mix it properly and cook for five minutes, make sure the curry is not very thin, do not add excess water.
