Ingredients for Khow Suey (burmese Recipe)

  • 200 gms noodles
  • 100 gms boiled shredded chicken
  • 100 gms chopped onion
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli paste
  • 3-4 tbsp Bengal gram flour
  • Chicken stock as required
  • Oil as required
  • Coconut cream as required
  • 2 Boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
  • Green chilli chopped
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • Fresh lime slices
  • Water as required

How to cook Khow Suey (burmese Recipe)

  1. Boil noodles keep separate. Boil eggs and chicken keep aside.

  2. Heat oil in a frying pan fry chopped garlic keep separate. Fry chopped onion keep separate.

  3. Now add shredded chicken, red chilli paste, ginger garlic paste and stir fry.

  4. Now make a paste with gram flour, chicken stock and coconut cream. Add noodles.

  5. Mixed noodles and red chilli flakes, boiled eggs, fried garlic,fried onion all these together.

  6. Now ready to serve hot khow suey with chopped green chilli, chopped fresh coriander, crushed ground nut and lime juice.
