Easy and quick fish fry recipe which serves as a great starter. Mackerel Fish is marinated in basic masala and spices for couple of hours and deep fried. Crisp from outside and soft inside.

Ingredients
- Mackerel Fish - 4 big whole Fish
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Peppercorns - 1 tsp cracked or use pepper powder
- Coriander powder - ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
- Oil for deep frying

Instructions
- Take the fish and make slashes all over. Keep aside In a mixing bowl.
- Ground the ginger and garlic and extract the juice of it. We will be using only the juice.
- In a small bowl take all the ingredients except oil in a mixing bowl and mix well by adding few drops of water.
- Rub this mixture all over the fish and in the slashes too. Keep this to marinate for atleast 30 mins. I kept for 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the fishes in batches and deep fry then on all sides till golden and crisp from outside.
- Drain and serve with onions, slit Green chillies and lemon slices.
