About Domino'S Style Spinach Bread Sticks
Hungry kya? When Domino’s cravings strike, especially from our little ones, the mom in us starts weighing convenience against health. We all know that quick fixes are tempting, but as Indian moms—born of the Rajnikant breed—we’re ready to don our superhero capes and whip up something that’s both delicious and nourishing. That’s how these Domino’s-style Spinach Bread Sticks came to life: a smart twist to satisfy fast-food hankerings without compromising on goodness.
These breadsticks are made with whole wheat and oats flour, kneaded with a luscious spinach puree for that fantastic green hue and a nutritional punch. Stuffed with a classic combo of sweet corn, cheese, and olives, they’re soft, flavorful, and easily customizable with your favorite veggies. Trust me, the aroma alone will have everyone rushing to the table—and when they love it as much as mine did, you’ll feel that “Mission Accomplished” supermom moment too!

- 2 tbsp Onion chopped
- 1 Garlic crushed tspn
- 1 Olive Oil or butter butter tspn
- 1 tbsp Peppers jalepino chopped
- 2 Bell Peppers chopped, medium sized, tblspns mixed
- Water or dough knead the dough
- 1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese grated or diced
Instructions
- Well for this recipe first yeast needs to be bloomed which I had already described in my donut recipe.Exactly the same way we have to knead the dough using spinach puree, garlic and olive oil and the dough needs to be kept covered with a moist cloth.
- Dough needs to kept in a warmer and darker place for about an hour for it's first proving. While the dough is proving you can prepare the stuffing for which heat little butter or oil in a pan saute onion and garlic till the raw smell goes away.
- To this add boiled sweet corn and bell pepper and all the veggies you wanna include and keep aside. Now check the dough if it's double in size then knock back take it out and roll it like a chapati in a round disks.Spread cheese spread or hung curd .
- Spread the prepared veggies mixture on half side of the roll as the other side will cover this half. Now sprinkle generous amount of cheese and adjust seasoning. And cover with the other half of the disc.
- Pinch the corners so that the stuffing doesn't come out while baking and make sharp cuts over this like Domino's cheese garlic bread and rest it for about 20 mnts for second rise.
- After the second rise brush the top with garlic butter and sprinkle oregano ,chilli flakes and garlic bread seasoning and bake for about 25 mnts till the top gets little brown There you go...much healthier version of Domino's is right in front of you
- I am so sorry that I couldn't share more pics of this recipe as I have lost them .
Recipe Notes
Additional Tips
- For extra softness, brush the breadsticks with a mixture of melted butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of dried Italian herbs right after baking; this also amps up the aroma and flavor, mimicking the Domino’s signature finish.
- If you want a crispier crust, use a preheated pizza stone or an inverted baking tray in your oven; this helps achieve a bakery-style bottom while keeping the inside fluffy.
- To boost nutrition and color, try adding a tablespoon of flaxseed meal or chia seeds to the dough—they blend in seamlessly and add a subtle, nutty flavor.
- Freeze unbaked, shaped breadsticks on a tray, then store them in zip-lock bags; bake straight from frozen (adding a few extra minutes) for an instant snack whenever cravings hit.
