Crisp paper dosa/sada dosa from south indian cuisines. Dosas are protein packed breakfast from south indian. A popular dosa that is made of rice fermented rice and lentils batter. Dosas served in many varieties like plain, masala, mysore etc. Todays Lunch crispy paper dosa with yummy coconut chutney. This delicious crispy paper dosa prepared with Urad Dal and raw rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm raw rice
  • 150 gm urad dal
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda optional

Instructions
 

  • Soak raw rice n urad dal separate for 12 hours in between change water for once.
  • After 12 hours take rice n dal in mixer grinder and grind both together into fine paste. Cover the lid n keep aside this batter for whole knight.
  • In the next morning, Before making dosa add salt and baking soda in dosa batter and mix it. Smooth batter is ready for dosa.

  • Heat dosa pan n pour 1 serving spoon batter in centre n spread it in round let them cook for 2min on low flame, drop oil n spread it on dosa again cook it for minute when dosa leaves pan. Transfer it to a plate.

Notes

I used raw rice coz it gives crispness and crunchiness to our dosa. You can also serve this with sukhi batata sabzi (dry potatoes sabzi).
