Ingredients
 

  • 2 tbsp Toor dal cooked
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 Red Chillies
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander
  • 1 tsp Desi Ghee
  • 1 tsp Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Take 1 cup water, add turmeric powder, chopped ginger, slitted green chilly , salt and allow it to boil in low flame.
  • After 5 to 10 minutes, add cooked dal, 1 cup water, mix and let it boil for a minute.
  • Finally add lemon juice, coriander leaves, mix and remove from flame.
  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a small pan, splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, broken red chili and fry for a minute.
  • Pour it over the rasam. Serve hot..
