Crispy Tomato Instant Rava Dosa

This tomato rava dosa is a simple, lip smacking and very easy to make dosa that looks crispy and netted. With simple procedure and easily available ingredients you can make a mouthwatering breakfast / dinner for your family members and guests....

Ingredients
  

  • Rava / Sooji / Semolina 2 cups
  • Rice flour 1 cup
  • All purpose flour / Maida 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves and Coriander leaves chopped
  • Tomatoes 5
  • Onions 1
  • Green chilli 1
  • Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon and Pepper Corns 1 tea spoon
  • Oil for making dosa

  • In a broad bowl add all the three flours, salt and mix well. Grind tomatoes, onions, green chilli, pepper, cumin together inn a blender well and add the juice to the flour. Add the chopped leaves.

  • Pour required water and bring it to pouring consistency. Keep aside for 30 minutes. Heat a Dosa tawa and grease it with 1/2 tea spoon of oil. With a ladle pour the dosa batter on the tawa from the edges towards the centre.

  • If needed take some more batter and fill up the gaps. Smear little oil. When the edges become crispy and brown flip off and allow the other side to get cooked for 1 minute. Now the crispy, lacy, spicy red dosa is ready to serve.
