Cottage Cheese and Rice-Moong Dal Chillas are protein packed crepes that are seasoned with green chillies,onions and tomatoes and the richness of Cottage Cheese(Paneer) making it a wholesome Indian breakfast.This healthy Indian breakfast is specially curated to give your day a kick-start and a supplement of nutrition,health and taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 - Yellow Moong Dal soaked in water for hours 150 gms
  • 3 - Rice soaked in water for hours 150 gms
  • 100 gms Paneer
  • 50 gms Chickpea Flour
  • 50 gms Semolina
  • 1/2 cup Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onions finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 5 tbsp Oil
  • Water as reqd

Instructions
 

  • Combine soaked rice and moong dal along with water and blend till it forms a smooth paste.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and add chickpea flour,semolina,grated paneer,tomatoes,onions,green chillies,ginger paste,cumin seeds,salt and mix well. Allow the batter to rest for 10 mins.
  • Take ¼ tsp oil in a non-stick pan(griddle).Once it is warm,pour a laddle-full of batter and spread evenly to make round of 4”.
  • Cook on medium flame till it becomes golden-brown from both sides.
  • Serve hot with tomato-ketchup and mango pickle.

Notes

  • The preparation time does not include the time taken for soaking the lentils and rice.
