Bombay Batata-wada is an iconic street-food. However, I have tried its healthier version, omitting the frying step and using the stuffing to make toasters.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 2 brown bread slice
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon haldi
  • ¼ teaspoon red Chilli Powder
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds

Instructions
 

  • Grate the potatoes. Add salt, red chilli, haldi Take one tablespoon oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic, curry leaves,mustard seeds. Let it turn light brown.
  • Add this tadka to the potato mix. Take Two tablespoon mixture and put between two bread slices. Toast on tawa till golden brown.
