Ingredients
- 1- cup OoMugi Barley -boiled
- 1/2- cup yogurt preferably one day old
- 2 teaspoon semplina
- 1 teaspoon green chilli-ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon eno fruit salt
- Chopped vegetables of choice
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- For Tempering -2 whole red chillies
- Roasted chana dal to taste
- 6-7 curry leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp oil
- For garnish- tomato flower and sauce of choice

Instructions
- Grind together the ginger and green chillies to a smooth paste. Mix the boiled OoMugi Barley ,semolina and yogurt and add the ground ginger and green chillies paste,vegetables , salt and oil .
- Grease moulds , just before pouring it, beat the batter a bit and add eno fruit salt. transfer batter into greased moulds .
- Place moulds into a steamer and cook for 8-9 minutes . Test if it is done, with a skewer and if it comes out clean, remove from flame .
- Prepare tempering in oil and pour over the wada .Serve garnished by tomato flower and sauce of choice .
Notes
Speciality of the dish is –u can make with leftover cooked cup OoMugi Barleyupma.
