  • In a bowl add gram flour and make a smooth and pouring consistency batter by adding water.
  • Now add 1 tsp oil into it and mix well for 2-3 mins. Keep aside for 10-15 mins.
  • Make ½ thread sugar syrup by adding 1 cup water.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai. Hold the skimmer over the kadhai with your one hand. Pour some batter onto skimmer to cover all the holes.
  • The batter will start dropping from the holes into the oil. Fry until they turn light golden in color.
  • Take out the boondi from the oil and put them into the warm sugar syrup. Let them soak for 4-5 mins.
  • Drain off the excess syrup.
  • Add sliced almonds & cashews, green cardamom powder.
  • When the mixture is still warm make it into small balls.
  • Garnish with the sliced pistachios.
