Ingredients
- 1 cup Besan gram flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp Almonds or cashews, sliced
- 1 tbsp Pistachios sliced, for garnishing
- Oil to deep fry

Instructions
- In a bowl add gram flour and make a smooth and pouring consistency batter by adding water.
- Now add 1 tsp oil into it and mix well for 2-3 mins. Keep aside for 10-15 mins.
- Make ½ thread sugar syrup by adding 1 cup water.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Hold the skimmer over the kadhai with your one hand. Pour some batter onto skimmer to cover all the holes.
- The batter will start dropping from the holes into the oil. Fry until they turn light golden in color.
- Take out the boondi from the oil and put them into the warm sugar syrup. Let them soak for 4-5 mins.
- Drain off the excess syrup.
- Add sliced almonds & cashews, green cardamom powder.
- When the mixture is still warm make it into small balls.
- Garnish with the sliced pistachios.
