This is a delicious side dish made with beans to be served with rÃ sam or Sambhar and rice.
Beans (chopped) - 1 cup
Grated coconut - 1/4 th cup
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2
Sugar - 2 tsp
Heat a pan with oil. Add the dry red chillies followed by the mustard seeds.
Once they splutter, add the chopped beans along with turmeric powder.
Saute and cook till the beans are almost done.
Then add salt and the sugar. Give it a good Stir.
Finally add the grated coconut. Cook for few seconds more and then serve.
