Plattershare Recipe Contest July 2015

Plattershare aims to bring whole of the FnB industry together and food lovers are the heart and soul of the industry. At Plattershare, we always look forward to appreciate the knack of cooking and joy of eating as these are the most humble, satisfying and soul-searching jobs on earth. To celebrate the love for food, admire your kitchen and share the happiness of telling the story behind your signature dishes to the world of food lovers, Plattershare came up with yet another exciting contest – “Recipe Contest July 2015”
The contest was sponsored by Spicesafari, Bowl2Belly, Orchardlane and PayUmoney.
Spicesafari ( First prize sponsor, worth Rs 2500) are ultimate spice destination and brings spices which are so pure, fresh, and authentic that it remind us of our mothers and grandmothers.Bowl2Belly (Second Prize sponsor, worth Rs 2000) brings homemade food which is prepared with love and compassion at home by homechefs and hence provide healthy, tasty and delicious option as compared to junk food. Orchardlane (Third Prize sponsor worth Rs 1500) decorates your breakfast table with jams and jelly which are freshly made from fruits and contains no preservatives and very minimal amount of sugar. PayUmoney helps to ease the mode of payment and is the new and smart way to handle your payments and online transaction.
The most motivating, inspiring and dream-come-true moment came when India’s first ever masterchef Pankaj Bhadouria decided to judge the contest. Her invaluable feedback and comments are like “Guru’s saying” for new students (here home chefs). There was lot of buzz in the food community because of it and participants posted yummy, unique and mouth-watering recipes. The blend of spices and usage of ingredients was much appreciated by ITC Head Chef Rahul Shrivastava who was the wild card entry judge for the contest.
Among 200+ recipes which were submitted during the contest 10 best recipes were selected (5 based on maximum “Want to try” votes and 5 wild card entries.) which were send to Master Chef for her final verdict.
The contest started on 6th July and ended on 31st July saw amazing excitement among users as there was 200+ new signups.
We consider all the participants as winners but as the rule we had to select 3 winners which was finalized by MasterChef Pankaj.

- First prize was won by Swayampurna Singh for her recipe of Mediterranean Spiced Chicken With Muscato Grapes.
- Second Prize Gayathri Ramanan for her recipe of Guacamole And Alfalfa Sprouts Sandwich Recipe.
- Third Prize Rajwant Gill for her recipe of Whole Wheat, Ragi & Oats Tea Cake.
