Baked Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

Oven baked sweet potatoes fries are guilt-free, easy side dish recipe. It's a healthy tiffin idea for the kids as compared to greasy french fries. Crispy, caramelized with the hint of spicy paprika and natural sweetness of sweet potato makes it an easy snack recipe to kill your 4' clock hunger pangs. Ingredients
  

  • 2 Sweet Potatoes 1/4 inches, peeled and sliced evenly like fingers
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for tossing

For Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Chili Flakes or Smoked Paprika
  • 2 teaspoon Parsley leaves Finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the over to 170 degrees Celcius (338 Degree F), Line in the parchment paper in a baking tray and keep it aside.
  • Peel the sweet potato and cut give a finger shape by first slicing it with 1/4 inch long and then 1/4 inches wide. The idea is to give a similar shape as french fries.
  • In a deep bowl, put sweet potatoes and pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil and toss it, it will coat all the sweet potato sticks with oil. Greasing will help the seasoning to stick.
  • Sprinkle salt, White pepper powder, garlic powder and smoked paprika or chilli flakes and toss it again. Finely chop parsley and sprinkle it on the fries.
  • Place all the sweet potato fries separately on the parchment paper and bake it for 10 minutes at 170 degrees C.
  • Turn them and bake again for another 10 minutes. The fries will become brown (Yet not crisp)
  • Take out the baking tray from the oven and place it on the cooling rack for 10-15 minutes. When the fries cool down then they will become crisp.
