Aloo Paratha

A very delectable breakfast to start your day full of energy as it contains potato and wheat flour which is rich in carbohydrates which gives your body energy which goes on for long hours

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Refined oil 1 cup
  • Potatoes 4 medium sized
  • Onion 2 chopped
  • Green chilli 2 chopped
  • Salt
  • Ginger grated 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander 2 tbsp


  • make a soft dough using all purpose flour,wheat flour and 1 tbsp refined oil and required water...rest it covered for 15 mins
  • Boil and mash potatoes...add chopped onion,chopped coriander leaves,chopped green chilli,Chaat masala,red chilli powder,salt
  • Take a tomato sized dough and roll it in a rolling pin.. Now stuff some potato stuffing in it and close it from all sides
  • Again roll it very carefully so that the stuffings will not come out...
  • Heat a tawa and cook the paratha from both the sides... Apply adequate amount of oil and cook it till golden brown both the sides
  • Serve hot with pickle or yogurt
