Patishapta is a popular recipe of Bengal which has no limitations. All time favourite but winter is the best season. Because people like to use dates jaggery which is available in winter. I used saffron to make the recipe more delicious. Let's see how it is done.

Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 medium size fresh coconut
- 50 gm dates jaggery
- Broken cashew nuts
- 2 tablespoon raisin
- Soaked saffron
- Milk as required
- Crushed cardamom
- Cow ghee

Instructions
- Grate the fresh coconut, make a fillings adding jaggery, cashew nuts, raisin, cardamom powder and saffron.
- It will be a sticky filling so it can be preserved for sometime.
- Make a batter with rice flour, coconut milk or cow milk and soaked saffron. Take a non stick pan sprinkle with ghee and spread the batter then coconut fillings.
- Again sprinkle soaked saffron now ready to serve. Enjoy the winter with your favourite patishapta.
