Ragi aloo poori is a delicious breakfast recipe. It is a south indian style breakfast recipe. A healthy ,crisp and soft poori made of ragi flour, potatoes and whole Wheat flour.

Ingredients
  

  • Ragi Flour - 1 cup
  • Wheat Flour - 1 cup
  • Potatoes - 2 boiled and peeled
  • Salt
  • Ghee/ Oil for frying
  • Water as required to knead the flour

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl add the boiled potatoes and finely mash them.
  • Add in salt, about 2 tsp of ghee and ½ cup water. Mix well.
  • Add the wheat flour and ragi flour mix well and knead to form a stiff dough adding water little by little at a time.
  • Divide the dough into small balls. Take one ball and roll them into pooris.
  • Heat the ghee in a deep frying pan.
  • In low-medium heat drop the poori in hot ghee, press on the top using a slotted spoon.
  • It will puff up, now flip them over and fry on other side for few mins. Drain and serve.
