Ragi aloo poori is a delicious breakfast recipe. It is a south indian style breakfast recipe. A healthy ,crisp and soft poori made of ragi flour, potatoes and whole Wheat flour.
Yield / Serves
RagiÂ FlourÂ - 1 cup
WheatÂ FlourÂ - 1 cup
PotatoesÂ - 2 boiled and peeled
Salt to taste
Ghee/ Oil for frying
Water as required to knead the flour
In a bowl add the boiled potatoes and finely mash them.
Add in salt, about 2 tsp of ghee and ½ cup water. Mix well.
Add the wheat flour and ragi flour mix well and knead to form a stiff dough adding water little by little at a time.
Divide the dough into small balls. Take one ball and roll them into pooris.
Heat the ghee in a deep frying pan.
In low-medium heat drop the poori in hot ghee, press on the top using a slotted spoon.
It will puff up, now flip them over and fry on other side for few mins. Drain and serve.
